What is the Chong Lee Loyalty Card?
The Chong Lee Loyalty Card Program (the “Chong Lee Loyalty Card”) is a rewards program offered by Chong Lee Market (“Chong Lee Market,” “our,” “we,” and “us”) under these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).
Program Availability
You can collect stamps (“stamps”) on eligible purchases at all Chong Lee Markets in Vancouver, BC, Canada in-store only for redemption of points.
How to Join
You can join the Chong Lee Bonus Program by registering for an account (the “Account”) in-store at either our Rupert location or our Victoria location. Membership is free, and you do not need to make a purchase to open an Account.
We may change the methods for participating in the Chong Lee Loyalty Card Program from time to time, at our sole discretion. These Terms and Conditions replace any other terms and conditions we may have provided to you and govern your participation as a member in the Chong Lee Bonus Program. By registering for an Account, you (or your parent or legal guardian, as applicable) accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Membership Requirements
To be a member of the Chong Lee Bonus Program, you must be a Canadian resident.
You must ensure that your personal information associated with your Chong Lee Loyalty Card account is kept up to date. Notify us if you change any information by contacting our Customer Service at Chong Lee Market stores. Failure to update your information may prevent you from earning stamps.
Earning Stamps
In any given transaction, Stamps may only be earned on a single Chong Lee Loyalty Card account and may only be credited to that account.
Every eligible purchase worth $50 (before tax and after any applicable discounts or other deductions) can earn a stamp. Each full $50 is worth one stamp. All references to dollars or “$” are in Canadian dollars.
To earn Stamps, you must provide your card to scan at the time of purchase. Otherwise, you can go to customer service and get your stamps there.
Eligible purchases include the net purchase amount, excluding gift cards, tickets, lotteries, taxes and fees, newspapers, discounts, cigarettes, grocery bags, applicable sales taxes, deposits, disposable cutlery, party trays, any other products not legally available in connection with the Chong Lee Loyalty Card Program, and any other products or services where prohibited by law.
Stamps will be earned on purchases made with Chong Lee Market gift cards at the time the gift card is redeemed.
Stamps earned may take up to twenty-four (24) hours after your purchase to be reflected in your Account.
Redeeming Stamps
Every 10 stamps is $500 value and can be redeemed once at a time.
Once your Stamp balance reaches 10 stamps, you may redeem them for $25 at the customer service. Bring your most recent receipt to customer service, and there a representative will mark that receipt for your next purchase. Present your marked receipt within 6 months to get your $25 off your next bill.
Stamps cannot be transferred to other Accounts under a different registered Chong Lee Loyalty Card holder or redeemed for cash. Stamps have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Stamps cannot be exchanged, purchased, or gifted. Stamps cannot be sold, traded, bartered, rented, or otherwise disposed of. Stamps are void if sold for cash or any other consideration.
We accept no responsibility for redemptions made on your Account.
Refunds
If a product purchased with stamps is returned for a refund, any stamps earned from the original purchase will be deducted from the member’s Account balance.
Closing Account
Stamps remain active after six months of it’s issued date.
Chong Lee Market reserves the right to cancel, restrict, suspend, modify, or otherwise change the Chong Lee Loyalty Card Program or these Terms and Conditions at any time.
If you, the registered primary Chong Lee Loyalty Card holder, choose to close your Account, you will lose your Stamps immediately. Please redeem your Stamps before closing your account.
General
If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English, Chinese, and Vietnamese versions of these reward pages, the English version shall prevail.
We reserve the right to terminate the Chong Lee Loyalty Card Program, or any part of it, at any time.
If any of the information you provided when you registered for the Chong Lee Loyalty Card Program changes (such as your name, mailing address, email address, or phone number), you must inform us immediately and provide your current information. We are not responsible if we cannot contact you due to inaccurate or outdated information.
We reserve the right to refuse participation in the Chong Lee Loyalty Card Program to any individual, at our discretion, including if they fail to meet the eligibility requirements or have had a previous membership canceled.
